PONY DOWN!!

So I'm sure that everyone followed the TCU Horned Frogs vs SMU Mustangs football game on Friday the 24th, 2010.  Everyone knew what the final result was going to be, but we figured we would watch it anyway.  The game started off a little slow with SMU somehow holding the Frogs and taking over after the Frogs freakish large punter, Anson Kelton who is marked at 6-4–260 lbs, kicked a good one to the Ponies.  This back and forth between Kelton and SMU's punter went on for about half of the first quarter until to most everyone's surprise SMU's sophomore quarterback threw a deep bomb for a touchdown, and the first strike of the day.  All the purple people started to get a little uneasy and started to regret all the trash talking that had taken place before kick-off.  "What would we do if we lost to SMU"? "What do you think our ranking will be"?  "These guys are garbage, we can't lose the skillet."  It was like a chain reaction of mines across a mine field, blowup after blowup people were already doubting the Frogs.  Even fans!!  Though they didn't have much time to gripe when the frogs came back and scored shortly after.  At the beginning of the half the Ponies were within 4 with a score of 14-10.  They came out strong right away in the second half and intercepted Andy Dalton which led to a touchdown giving the Mustang's a 17-14 lead.  This was the case for awhile in the third quarter until Jeremy Kerley ran back an 83 yard kick-off return.  Dalton capped off the drive with an 11 yard touchdown pass to Bart Johnson.  The next series was finished off by a 9-yard touchdown run by Waymon James after Dalton completed a pair of third down conversions.  And last but not least, Luke Shivers finished off the Ponies with a 4-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
